The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has released a new version of REACH-IT that will allow other members of a joint REACH registrants to submit their dossiers in parallel, as soon as the Lead Registrant has submitted their registration.

Previously they had to wait until the Lead Registrant had received confirmation that their registration had been successfully completed, but the new method is one of the solutions identified by the Directors' Contact Group in response to company concerns about potential obstacles to achieving registration in time.

The new version of REACH-IT will also enable companies directly to submit classification and labelling notifications.
